If the site becomes even moderately popular I'm sure it will eventually attract the usual idiots just wanting to be disruptive. Would also probably attract diehard Republicans that would just love to tell us a thing or two.
I've given this a bit of thought and think we may want to password protect certain sections of the forum eventually. So anyone could come to the site, view posts, create an account and add content to some general locations. But in order to be able to add content anywhere you would need access to a password, or set of passwords, that would possibly be changed periodically and sent out via email.
Also the site would need a few people willing to act as moderators.
